Dean is a clean energy infrastructure professional with more than 25 years of Renewable Energy, Battery Energy Storage (BESS) Hydrogen and Advanced Fuels project development and financing experience in the APAC region. This included end-to-end operational and strategic responsibility in the APAC region for a global energy transition development platform, where Dean built the development platform from startup to a business of over 35 staff. As the Head of the Australian business reporting functions included full P&L management, market development, strategy, project origination, procurement, offtake and structuring. Prior to Amp, Dean was the Managing Partner of a Hong Kong based clean advisory business specialising in Clean Energy project origination, transaction structuring and capital formation. He previously also held the position of Head of Cleantech at a London based natural resources investment bank. Dean speaks fluent Japanese and has operated in China, India, Korea, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, SE Asia. Dean has a Masters of Finance degree from Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia, and a 1st class honours degree in finance and international business from the University of Waikato in New Zealand.
