The aim of the Central Precinct Renewal Program is to create a precinct with a real sense of place, which connects into surrounding neighbourhoods, and draws on the character and heritage of this landmark location.

Victoria Cross Integrated Station Development Tender - A very exciting project and one of the 5 ISDs that form a key element of the new Sydney Metro.Dillwynia Womans Correctional Centre Expansion - My first project secured for John Holland in April 2018. A highly sort after project within the corrections sector.

Bid Leader and Authorised Person for a circa $140M South Coast Correctional Centre Expansion. The project is part of the NSW State Government Prison Bed Capacity Program (PBCP) which has a total value of approximately $3.8B.

SPM for Stage 1B basement and infrastructure for Barangaroo South. Scope includes remediation of site, design and construction of a four level basement including loading dock. Infrastructure and services include extension of Stage1A centralised services to support 3NO high-rise residential towers (total ~750 apartments) and the proposed Crown integrated report. Total Barangaroo South GFA approx 535,000sqm.

Services Project Manager - Barangaroo South.Responsible for centralised services required for 490,000sqm mixed use development in the Sydney CBD, including a 65MW district chilled water plant utilising harbour heat rejection.Bid Manager National Broadband Network.Responsible for the preparation of tender responses to NBN Co. Resulted in being shortlisted for NBN National procurement process and ultimate award of contracts in three states.Senior Project Manager - Water & Infrastructure (Victoria) 04/08 - 05/10. Responsible for development and growth of the infrastructure business in Victoria. Adding value to business development strategy by applying my operations and delivery experience.Project Manager, 07/05 to 03/08Networks Alliance, Sydney Water. Responsibilities included the project management of trunk main renewal projects, as well as special projects relating to water reclamation and re-use.

Ludowici Group, Operations Manager – Environmental Division, 01/02 to 06/05.Ludowici Environmental provides integrated water and wastewater treatment solutions for populations ranging from 50 to 4000 people using both conventional and modern treatment technologies. My responsibilities included the management of all company construction projects throughout their project life cycles with close involvement in project M & E design.Achievements included: Successful project delivery of two of the first MBR wastewater treatment plants in Australia; Installation of municipal water and wastewater treatment systems; Implementation of industry best practice project management and control systems.

A.J Lucas Group Pty Ltd - 06/95 to 12/02Project ManagerResponsibilities extended to all stages of project delivery for high pressure gas pipelines, and drilling construction projects in Australia and abroad. Projects included:SEA Gas Underground Pipeline: One of the most important energy infrastructure projects in Australia, designed to meet the needs of a range of energy providers in South Australia and Victoria. A. J. Lucas formed a joint venture with Spie Capag to create the SpieCapagLucas JV as the head contractor to deliver the $500 million D&C project. Held a key role in the successful tendering process and was responsible for all preconstruction activities including all statutory documentation required for the attainment of the construction certificate including all Project Management Plans and preconstruction documentation.Lihir Gold: Located on an island in New Ireland Province of Papua New Guinea (PNG), 900 kilometres north-east of Port Moresby. The gold deposit is within an extinct volcanic crater that is geothermally active, and is one of the largest known gold deposits in the world. Dean lived onsite and was involved with the deep ocean outfall construction undertaken by Clough Engineering.Goldfields Gas Transmission (GGT) Project: Provides north-east Pilbara and the heart of the Goldfields with gas from the North West via a 1380 kilometre natural gas pipeline. The pipeline traverses more than two-thirds of the State and is the second longest pipeline in Western Australia. Residing in mobile camps during the construction, my involvement was with the hydrostatic pressure testing of the pipeline.Santos Gas Pipeline Project: Responsible for the on and off site project management for the installation of two high pressure natural gas regulation stations.Sydney Gas Pipeline Project: Planned and managed all aspects of the construction of a 7km gas pipeline.
