In 2015 I sold my interest to my partner to focus on branding, strategic marketing and new media. While at Strata, my role as CEO was in the business, brand and cultural development for the company as well as washing dishes and cleaning bathrooms if needed. It was a great run with a great team and an amazing partner. In contrast to many other agencies, we differentiated ourselves through serious business development disciplines including an in-house call center that provided outbound lead generation and customer fulfillment as well as an organizational development practice where we’d train clients to build their brands from the inside out. Of course we did everything from project work and branding to integrated online and offline marketing - spending client budgets of $100,000 per month to $1 million per month and were held accountable for measureable results. We not only built the businesses we served, we turned many of them into category leaders.
