Multi Venue Operations Manager
As Multi-Venue Operations Manager, I was responsible for all Ticketmaster staff in venues around Dublin, e.g. the Olympia, Gaiety, Bord Gais, Academy, Ambassador, 3Arena and RDS. I was responsible for the set-up and operation of mobile Box Offices for all of the larger sporting events and festivals throughout the country, these include but are not limited to, The Aviva, RDS, Thomond Park, Musgrave Park, Electric Picnic, Oxegen, The Marquee Cork. I managed approximately 30 staff members and had to ensure all venues and events were adequately resourced. I was responsible for hiring new staff members as well as ensuring all staff had adequate training in both the ticketing system and customer service. I ensured all Box Offices are adequately stocked, that they had regular cash collections and physical security when needed. I was fully responsible for rostering, managing vacation leave, payroll and expenses for box office staff. I organised and monitored temporary contract staff for larger events such as Bloom and the Horse Show. A high level of administration and detailed planning was required for most of the Ticketmaster outdoor events. Examples of this would be applying for licences from Dublin City Council, hiring cabins, arranging transportation for cash, staff travel and accommodation. I was also responsible for the reconciliation of ticket sales against income, monitoring refunds and tracking blank ticket stock. I managed the supplier database and was responsible for tracking work completed and signing of invoices for payment.
