I'm currently a Housing Finance officer, underwriter for the City of St. Petersburg, located in St. Petersburg, FL. I am from Charleston, SC, and in the near future, I plan on becoming a Mortgage Loan Officer, Real Estate Investor, and content creator for my travel vlog. I've developed experience in underwriting and reviewing grants and secondary mortgages. I am very knowledgeable about FHA, VA, Conventional, and USDA loans. My work ethic and social personality have taken me far in my career, at eighteen years old I became a general manager at Burger King, this was the first job that I started when I was sixteen years old as a team member, therefore I take great pride in my progress over the years. Burger King is what set up the foundation of my career, learning CRMs, customer service, and managing labor, inventory, and payroll. Burger King has also taught me the importance of making sure your employees feel like they are being treated correctly can easily improve the overall production of the company. One of the biggest obstacles I faced was starting college in 2017 and having to stop because of financial issues. This took a huge toll on me because I felt like I failed and was going backward in life, despite feeling defeated, I was able to work hard enough to get back into school after having to take a semester off in the Fall of 2018 in order to save to continue my college journey in the Spring of 2019 when I transferred from Bethune Cookman University to Coastal Carolina University. From there I worked long, late hours as a manager at Wendy's, went straight to class in the mornings, lost two grandparents, and was able to graduate with my class. This really boosted my thought of being able to do anything that I put my mind to and always give myself credit for seeing it through to the end and not giving up. My motivation has always been my hardworking family whom I will one day give the opportunity for them to live a lavish lifestyle, finally letting them see the fruits of their labor.
