In my most recent position I served as the Non-Commissioned Officer InChange (NCOIC) director for the pharmacy department. I orchestrated allpharmacy operations, managed a $10M+ budget for KACC and equipment valued at$1M. I collaborated in the management of a $36M annual budget of six sisterpharmacies located at five military installations. I initiated and elevatedwork request tickets for resolution by IT support staff. I collaborated withthe IT team to ensure proper organization and retention of pharmaceuticalrecords. I also verified all regulatory compliance requirements. I amproudest of the following accomplishment:• I oversaw the allocation and installation of 30+ computers and 30+monitors to support Defense Health agency-wide upgrades. I verified adequatenetwork ports were active to support this installation project. Itroubleshooted printer, network, and computer issues.

Iorchestrated all pharmacy operations, staff scheduling, and oversight of$400K of pharmacy equipment. i provided technical support and professionaldevelopment for 7 civilian technicians supporting 150K patientbeneficiaries. I managed the call center operations and work flow queue. Iverified all regulatory compliance requirements. I am most proud of thefollowing achievements:• I led a special 12-member team managing Covid-19 mitigation effortsincluding the creation of a comprehensive training regimen that caused a 75%increase in inpatient pharmacy capacity, ensured adequate availablemanpower, and administered 100K+ vaccinations to protect residents ofCleveland, OH.• I streamlined Omnicell processes by creating SOPs to ensure properinventory stocks at all times, alleviating patient safety concerns andpotential shortages.• I verified a 100% retention of all managed equipment.

In this capacity, I served as the pharmacy in-patient director for pharmacyoperations. I partnered with IT support to ensure proper organization andretention of pharmaceutical records. I provided technical support andprofessional development for 7 civilian technicians supporting 150Kbeneficiaries. I orchestrated all pharmacy operations and oversight of $400Kof pharmacy equipment. I verified all regulatory compliance requirements. Itrained and mentored 3 soldiers and 6 civilian staff members to assistcurbside pharmacy operations and ensure safe delivery of patient care.

Kabul, Afghanistan

I served as sole individual assigned to pharmacy and medical logistics inKabul. Maintained prescriptions and recordkeeping requirements. Created layout and interface for a new program for the company MedicalCommunications for Combat Casualty Care (MC4). The program enabled deployedhealthcare professionals to provide safe medical treatment by providingaccurate and secure documentation including tracking of receipts, compounds,formula records, manufacturers, fills, labels, side effects, prescriptionrecords, and inventory. I partnered with the IT department to allocate andinstall computers and network devices within the facility. Evaluated ordersto verify dosage, intake regimen, prescription quantity, drug interactions,patient incompatibilities, and drug availability. I advised patientsregarding proper medicinal use and potential side effects. I moved andmaintained inventory of sterile products, bulk drug, controlled drug ordersand required documentation. Organized packing, loading, and set up of unitequipment as needed. I was awarded for the following duties:• Successful completed the error-free inventory of 100% of medical suppliesvalued at $2M at Hamid Karzai International Airport, Kabul, Afghanistan inonly 2 days (reduced from 14-day cycle) and proactively identifying allexpired supplies, thus reducing patient safety incidents.• Created the pharmaceutical framework for MC4's Health Assessment LiteOperations (HALO) electronic health record system to enhance and ensurereliable operations in remote field locations.• Conducted an all hospital briefing regarding proper prescription writingprocesses and cross trained as a Medical Logistics NCO overseeing pharmacyand logistics operations.• I responded to 12 MASCAL activations leading pre-hospital medics in timelyresuscitation and transport of combat casualties to hospitals; coordinatedand facilitated all unit training; processed and delivered mail for tennations enabling hospital support roles.

In this role I managed and mentored six civilians and three soldiers at ahospital pharmacy. I coordinated work schedules, revised policies, andcreated staff training programs. I oversaw all pharmacy operations andrecordkeeping activities. I advised patients regarding proper medicinal useand potential side effects. I replaced and maintained computers for thehospital network. I partnered with other departments to ensure computer andother hospital operations ran smoothly. I am proudest of the followingaccomplishments:• I was awarded a Certificate of Achievement for ensuring the pharmacydepartment remained within The Joint Commission standards by continuouslyauditing competencies and reviewing policies.• Enabled the accreditation of the new Irwin Army Community Hospital.

In this capacity I compounded and administered intravenous medications topatients with little to no supervision. I ensured proper dosage andpreparation of all medications and reviewed patient histories for adversereactions or drug intolerances prior to treatment. I am proudest of thefollowing achievement:• I coordinated maintaining active operations at both facilities during theOctober 2016 move from the Legacy Irwin Army Community Hospital to the newIrwin Army Community Hospital at Fort Riley. Achieved an on-time launch ofthe new 24/7 inpatient facility with zero delays to patient care, compliancewith patient safety guidelines, and verified all equipment was installed andoperating normally.
