Manage the scope of programming, developing, and testing for an on-premise, Linux based appliance. Role requires software development, scripting and automation, system virtualization, and post production end user support. Enhance the user experience by completing strong testing and code reviews before launch, writing and maintaining end user documentation and training material, and traveling to customer sites to assist with appliance installation. Support of labs.inquest.net, a Flask powered open data and research portal with a RESTful API dedicated to discovering interesting malware and exposing malicious infrastructure.● Drive continuous improvement by developing tools used by other developers.● Serve as a "point of resolution, " responding to end user support tickets, providing troubleshooting resources, generating technical documentation, and facilitating resolution of issues.● Monitor bugs found within the main application and other issues to quickly identify bottlenecks, delays, and gaps in the current process vs. the desired (to-be) process maps.● Focus solutions and development with an emphasis on enhancing the user experience through designing innovative interfaces, increasing user access, and developing easy functionality.● Work closely with the engine, UI, and Threat Intelligence teams, providing communication, integration, and cooperation among stakeholders to plan, develop, test, release, and maintain the solution.● Reduce downtime by managing upkeep, configuration, and reliable operation of the VMware ESXi virtual lab environment, the InQuest Appliance hardware lab environment.
