I was resonsible for the GSM network design, Stratergy, implimentation, roll out and mainternance of the countries network. I aslo set up the IT infastructure and the IT infastructure to the shops that had point of sale. I set up the customer care devision and the distribution channel, this included the prepaid, post paid physical and virtual channel. In addition to this i was resonsible for setting the the SMS, IN, and Mms services. ( VAS ) As the general manager I reported to the board, and was responsible for the ROI of the captal injected, and adviced the board on what the stratergy to follow to ensure financial sucess to the business. ( Responsible for strategic planning )I was resposible for developing the network stratergy and presenting it to the board for approval.I was responsible for linking the sales targets and stratergy with the netwrok roll out to ensure optimum ROI.I was responsible for the final licence negotiations, and complying with the conditions of the licence while rolling out the network and distibution channels. I was responsible for the project management for the entire countries roll out.

Durring this period, i was resposible for the roll out and planning of the Gauteng Region in South Africa. I am one of the Platinum founder member's of Vodacom South Africa and Vodacom Tanzania.

I worked in the Radio division of Telkom, I was exposed to Radio interferance, High Site mainternance, Regulatory issues, TV interferance, RF design, digital Design, and was promoted to the Mobile phone division that became Vodacom.
