With over 25 years of experience in the Ontario Public Service ("OPS"), I have recently transitioned over to Legal Aid Ontario ("LAO").During the past quarter century, I have been a seasoned investigator as well as a senior manager with a passion for ensuring compliance with provincial tax statutes. I have a CPA, CGA designation and a BA in Economics with a minor in Business from Carleton University. I enjoy working with diverse teams and stakeholders to connect the dots and find solutions to complex problems.Collaboration may be a buzz word in the public service, but it is what I have built my successful career on, whether it is dealing with regulatory authorities, or in the investigative and intelligence communities of enforcement. Presently as the Manager, Investigations at LAO, I lead a team of investigators and analysts to carry out misconduct investigations. I have used my analytical skills, communication skills, and presentation skills to prepare and deliver intelligence reports, briefings, and recommendations to senior management and external partners. I also regularly contribute to the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and best practices for Investigations during my tenure in the public sector.
