As President of the Chess Club at UTK, I have worked on restructuring and growing the current club operations so that it could increase in participants, retain memberships, and explore new activities. I have worked alongside a team of appointed club members by engaging in the university's recruitment opportunities to attract new members. Additionally, we have been exploring new opportunities by participating in tournaments and looking to host some of our own, both for fun as well as officially being ranked.

As an M.E. Intern I was given many responsibilities within the department. I compiled and created Standard Work Instructions for Etnyre Products, participated in Continuous Improvement Board meetings, created a PFMEA for production process, shadowed a Safety, Standards, and Cleanliness Audit, ran through basic Solidworks tutorials, made calculations for a Cost Benefit Analysis, and learned the basics of welding and shop assembly.
