On April 9 2013 I was elected as Treasurer for the City of Belleville, IL. I was sworn in on May 1 2013. I look forward to performing my duties as Treasurer and working with city staff to make Belleville better.I was elected April 5 2011 to represent the City of Belleville as Alderman for Ward 4 on the west end of Belleville. I took office on May 1 2011. I decided to run because I felt that the best way to help the community was to become involved directly in its operation and planning. I am proud to serve and hope that I am able to be an intricate part of the community so that I can help the residents.I moved into the Belleville Nov 1991, I began my career as a local driver and eventually became a long haul driver. I was promoted to the sales position in 1996 and have become instrumental in marketing Gerold Moving and Warehousing Co. to the St. Louis Metro East area. During my career at Gerold Moving I became involved in Business Network International serving in all leadership roles on several occasions. I am an active member in the Greater Belleville Chamber of Commerce where I serve on the Board of Directors, INforM Committee, Ambassador Committee, PR/Marketing Committee and support the events sponsored by the organization. I am an active member Rotary club of St. Clair County (West) where I served as President, Chili Day Chairman, Vacation Giveaway Chairman and I handle logistics for the Citrus Drive coordinating deliveries. I am a member of Realtor I am proud to be a part of these organizations so I can help the local community by providing a better place to live.My goal is to be the best person I can and provide for my family.
