Responsible for the ISED funded LTE Fixed Wireless build & upgrade teams for Western Canada. Included all project and financial management, budgeting and controls for multiple programs including completion of DC150 (200+ sites) and Acquisition & Legacy network upgrades to TD-LTE (200+). Program management for all project & construction managers for the region, budgeting, working with IP/RF design engineers, site acquisition, construction (tower, fibre, rigging & testing) planning & sourcing; capacity upgrades; including RF links / fibre backhaul/capacity/LTE CA/M-MIMO.

Working directly for the CEO my role was to focus on strategy and growth including technology selection, carrier relationships, spectrum management, network design & expansion, budgeting, D150/ISED funding application writing, M&A and financial planning to ensure scalability, growth and shareholder/investor value. With over 90 staff and offices in Brandon and Winnipeg, NetSet Communications is the largest fixed wireless provider in the province of Manitoba Canada.

I was responsible for all technology architecture, spectrum management, business development and corporate strategy. Responsible for the core and field networks, as well as planning and implementation of several key business systems, including Network Change Control, Ticketing, Billing System w/credit card processing, Traffic control and Network and Field Inventory. Responsible for the core network as well as all upstream gateway and peerings. I-NetLink Wireless specialized in the installation, maintenance and support of large scale wireless networks in the province of Manitoba. With over 100 towers, 150 access points and thousands of customers we were the largest WiMAX 802.16e broadband provider in Manitoba, and one of the largest in Canada.

Responsible for increasing subscribers, revenue and ARPU from an existing Residential and Corporate customer base. Helped grow the subscriber base from ~2500 to over 4700 through a combination of business process improvements, billing system selection and implementation, network updates and the deployment of a 802.16d fixed WiMAX network.

Summit Consulting is a leading provider of automated Test/Exam Delivery technologies, used for Certification Program Testing, Channel/Partner evaluation, and Industry Specific Certification programs. We also did test Driver plug-in development for Vue and Prometric environments for IT/Technology based lab exams.

We developed the first remote, hands-on, dynamically provisioning cloud based IT lab environment in 1999. The prototype came to be as we were using VMWare workstation for course development and it grew with the addition of VMWare API’s, scripts, and development of proprietary scheduling & remote access protocols to build an online version of a high-tech lab. After raising money and doing major development the prototype became know as TrueLab at Hatsize. ImagiLearn provided clients with expertise in building, managing, administrating and training in high tech environments.Consulted to: Many organizations including Executrain, ExcelNet, PBSC, CDI and Summit Consulting Group.

Leapit.com was a Sylvan ".com" Venture that sold online technology training, books & support. We grew the community to approx 110,000 users over the year, and learned a lot about the monetization of the internet.
