► Responsible for Manufacturing, Quality, Purchasing & Supply Chain, Program Management, Product Planning, Business Systems and Real Estate.► Stood up Manufacturing and Quality organizations after decision was made to no longer pursue contract manufacturing from Europe, right-sized bloated and ineffective Program Management Organization.► Developed strategy and began implementation of two greenfield U.S. assembly plants sized at 550k sq. ft. and 5 million sq. ft. until the company ran out of funding to execute the business plan.

► Company acquired by BorgWarner and received Change-In-Control.► Reduced 5,500 full time employees in $4.5B business creating $381M of incremental EBITDA.► Responsible for developing and executing “Project Pioneer” a $200 million restructuring plan to consolidate and optimize the global tech center footprint, reduce SG&A costs and close/sell global real estate including tech centers, plants and administrative offices. Highlights include:o Global Tech Center footprint reduction from 23 to 11o Engineering staff levels reduced from 5,700 to <4,000 FTEso SG&A staff levels reduced by >900 FTEs o Hourly staff levels reduced by >2,900 FTEso 25% reduction in stand-alone IT system applications► Per the CEO, “without the timely and successful execution of Project Pioneer, we very well could have faced the risk of Chapter 11 in 2020 due to the COVID-19 crisis.”► Total program being implemented ahead of schedule at significantly lower cost. Delivering $164M in annual savings for a net cost of $45.5M, ($117M cost offset by $71.5M of property and equipment sales) for a payback of under 4 months.► Led the “Project Pioneer” and “Rooftops” workstreams as part of the intensive integration activities between Delphi Technologies and BorgWarner (there are over 160 rooftops between the two companies).

► Full P&L for a Tier 1 & 2 automotive supplier of chrome plated components for customers such as GM, FCA, Nissan, VW, Tesla, Magna, Flex-N-Gate, etc.► Selected by the Board to lead the turnaround of an underperforming business while dealing with a challenging balance sheet and emerging environmental issues (PFOS). Developed turnaround strategy to provide a sense of destiny and change the culture. Key elements include: 1) stabilize the organization (excessive turnover); 2) improve operational excellence (quality/delivery); 3) reduce costs; and 4) grow/diversify the company.

Full P&L. Increased EBITDA 6x to record 18%. Managed seven sites across North America, Europe, and Asia. Served as Chairman of Ricardo MEDA LLC and Member of the OESA CEO Council. Selected by the Board of Directors to lead the turnaround of underperforming business units by driving accelerated diversification into new markets, including commercial vehicles, defense, government, clean energy, and vehicle electrification. Results required building a more commercially-oriented organization. Served as VP of Business Development currently for one year.

Selected for cross-functional position, providing leadership to regional directors, and managing global strategic business planning and development.
