About Dean Harrison

I have over 30 years experience in workload automation and batch processing, primarily on the mainframe but also on Windows, Unix and Linux platforms. I started on OPC, before they added any A or ESA on the end. At core a developer and analyst, with a large experience of the REXX language, again on various platforms.I am the creator of the Workload Automation Programming Language for z/OS, which was released in 2015 as part of IBM Workload Scheduler 9.3.
