Just a title change.

Most of my 5+ years here has been spent on a 255,000 s.f. patient bed tower in Oakland, California. My role has evolved into whatever it needed to be. I started out focusing mainly on modeling and coordinating the core and shell of the building. I was responsible for coordinating the seismic joints throughout the building on a very complex existing campus. I worked closely with the project team to coordinate our models during pre-construction and maintained a strong presence in the BIM coordination through project close out.For other projects, I have worked on a modular free standing emergency department in Florida. The building was built in Atlanta and shipped out to the site in sections and is now a fully functioning free standing emergency department. I also recently worked on a small greenfield children's hospital in Mesa, AZ and I am currently working on a large patient bed tower (75,000 s.f.) in Camarillo, CA.I am also currently part of a team that is responsible for an ongoing effort to create Revit standards and content for multiple offices in multiple states.

My responsibilities included managing a staff of BIM modelers/drafters, model/drawing production, BIM support for all of our divisions (mixed use, multi-family, interiors and custom residential), construction administration and content creation. Prior to me taking on the management role, most of our jobs had to be submitted multiple times for permitting and we had issues in the field that required quite a bit of time to answer rfi's and rework in the field. When this company shut it's doors (due to the economic crash), we were getting permits on first submittals and were not having to answer rfi's since we were coordinating with the contractor during the construction document phase.
