Conducting research on CO2 capture, conversion, and utilization systems. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team on the design and feasibility analysis of a point-capture CO2 conversion module. This is with the ultimate goal of significantly reducing industrial emissions through the production of value-added materials. Engaging in the research and development of kinetic, mass, and energy balances for CO2 conversion to potassium carbonate to advance the project's objectives.

Responsible for coordinating a delegation of undergraduate students to attend the Canadian Chemical Engineering Conference in 2023 (Calgary, AB), and 2024 (Toronto, ON). Budgeted for the transportation, accommodation, and meals of 28 students. Organized a variety of student socials and networking opportunities with industry members and faculty from other Canadian universities.

The Head Guard is responsible for supervising lifeguards and instructors under their charge during various aquatic programs. They are an experienced instructor/lifeguard with the Red Cross or Lifesaving society in order to mentor and develop new aquatics staff. Head Guards perform a combination of supervisor, instructor, and lifeguard duties, always maintaining effective safety and supervision of the aquatic facility. They are required to hold current certifications in aquatic leadership and lifeguarding. They are also committed to creating an inclusive and welcoming atmosphere for all patrons and staff, including being effective communicators in public service and emergency situations.
