Moving away from business development, my focus is now ensuring projects run as smoothly as possible with more time to dedicate to scoping and project management. I also now have focus on QA which means I am more hands on with cross browser / device testing, as well as creating high level test plans.

My role was to work with agencies to help them with their digital production needs. In addition to finding new business, my role included but was not limited to -Concepting / Scoping - This made up a large part of my job. Clients would often come to me with an idea for a project that needed to flushed out to ensure that it was a) possible and b) would meet their business objectives. Questions that often needed to be answered included:- How are users likely to interact with this project?- What is the best platform / technology to use?- Can this be done within budget? If not, could any elements be simplified to make it possible?- Are timeframes realistic / achievable?- Do we forsee any red flags or potential complications?I would also be required to put together reverse briefs, build wireframes and functional specification documentation. An important part of this process was close collaboration with our design & development team to ensure the scope of work has been effectively communicated and everyone is on the same page. It was also critical to ensure that the development team had a voice early on to guide any technical concerns or improvements to help the project to be as effective and efficient as possible.Project Management -Once a project officially kicked off, my role required me to be the go between the client and our development team ensuring one smooth line of communication.
