I've been in the recruitment industry for 20 years, and it’s what I love doing! What really excites me now is the transformational change the sector is going through in how data and AI driven tools are starting to evolve the art of recruiting into a blend of both art and science...we are right on the doorstep of radical change!The exciting part, is that as the industry becomes more data-driven, we will dramatically reduce risk in the hiring process and help customers make better hiring decisions. Then everyone wins – our clients, candidates, and our consultants.This passion of embracing the people and art element of what we do, along with the opportunities tech driven change can bring, is what engages & excites me about future change as our industry evolves. I certainly don’t have all the answers, which is why I never stop asking for feedback. You can’t at a personal level or as a business evolve if don’t make yourself vulnerable to receive feedback on what’s working and more importantly what’s not working, so you can continue to learn!In early 2018 we completed a Management Buy-Out of the Asia Pacific business, and since then I’ve realised that although I thought I was bringing 100% to work day in day out, the sense of accountability I feel to do the right thing by everyone in the business, to make sure that our words match our actions – it’s gone through the roof even more. I’m proud of what everyone at Hudson has achieved as we start to take our first few steps to become a truly tech-enabled talent solutions company in the future.At home on the weekends it’s 100% about sport, sport and sport…either watching it or doing it trying to get my own “me” time (cycling, running, swimming), as well as catching up with friends and spending time with my family. My two boys are old enough now to properly race and compete with me, so the training sessions and racing can get even more competitive at times!
