Dean Kidd is Director of My Goal Australia based in Lake Macquarie, New South Wales, a growing private disability organisation offering Supported Independent Living (standard and high intensity) and Participate Community (standard and high intensity) services to people with disabilities and their families. His work in the field of disability spans 15 years at both at a State and a National level. His past commitments include Operations Management, Disability Services Management working in the larger disability organisations in Newcastle and the Hunter region supporting the necessary change management processes in preparation for the introduction of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). My Goal was started by Mr Kidd in 2016 and is fast becoming known for their work with participants of the National Disability Scheme who require provider support in critical cases such as family breakdown, or placement breakdown. Their work supports the participant and their family in a crucial time of need and supports them to prevent lengthy and unsuitable hospital admission. My Goal now working out of Dash Cowork in Charlestown since the end of 2018 “has been one of the best decision for the business in our growth journey” Mr Kidd said. The space more than satisfies our needs in terms of useability, features and location. The most unexpected realisation since joining Dash – Charlestown is how personable and friendly everyone is in the office. Dash has certainly made for a positive and uplifting work environment that has made for some definite indirect benefits for our work and productivity. My Goal has experienced staff (male and/or female) ready to support you or your familymember in the community and/or Supported Independent Living (SIL). My Goal has a focus on quality service delivery and offering participants and their family a more personable approach during their support and quest for goal achievement.
