In my previous role as PwC’s National Tax Leader, I used my tax expertise and understanding of the business and economic environment to help clients navigate business issues. For more than 25 years I have helped clients with emigration planning, mergers and acquisitions, cross-border transactions, capital structure, international assignment services, and general tax planning. I specialize in advising large consumer and industrial product companies.Prior to my current role, I was the National Tax Markets Leader and Tax Leader of PwC Canada’s Greater Toronto Area and Central Region. I have also led PwC Canada’s Atlantic region tax practice and spent several years providing tax services from Saint John and Halifax.Active in the community, I am a current member of the Executive Committee and the Board of Governors, Canadian Tax Foundation, a former member of the Major Individual Giving Cabinet of the United Way of Greater Toronto, a former governor at Junior Achievement of Ontario, and past president of Ashburn Golf Club and former finance committee member of Bayview Golf and Country Club. I am a frequent public speaker and publish articles for various organizations and publications.
