Hi and thank you for reading my bio. My name is Dean Meier. I started investing in real estate in 1991 when I was 19 years old. It seemed like a great way for me to finance my dream of becoming a professional bass angler. The fish didn't bite so well but I sure have learned a lot about real estate along the way. In 2001 I started an IT company. While running the company I purchased real estate using revenues generated from the business. It was pure Kiyosaki. In 2010 I sold the company for a profit and decided to be a full time participant in real estate. Today I participate in and manage rental properties, participate in and create equity partnerships, and finance others with short term deals for fix and flips or fix and refis. In 2017 my wife and I " cut the dock lines of society " and moved aboard a Leopard 39 sailing catamaran. We travel to interesting places and meet extraordinary people who have chosen to live outside of the usual 9to5 grind.
