• Compile prior authorizations with single case agreement letters utilizing patient clinicals and submit to various insurance companies nationwide
• Negotiate pricing with workers comp, insurances, and legal offices according to individual state and federal fee schedules
• Trainer and developer of training material for onboarding IAS team members
• Review denials for appeal determination based on clinicals received/needed, denial reason, and medical policy; compile and submit appeal letter and request; obtain necessary authorization forms from patient for appeal
• Communications and request submittals with Nurse Case Managers, Work Comp adjusters, and Billing Vendors

• Process electonic permits
• Written, electonic, & verbal communications with applicants

• Overseer of Resident Trust accounts, including but not limited to withdrawals, deposits, statements, checks, resident bill-paying, authorization forms, trust disbursement forms, bank runs

• Weekly and monthly reports including but not limited to Medicaid Pending, Transactions, Collections, Aging, Delinquent Accounts, Hospice Billing and Aging, Admissions, Private Pay Collections

• Acting Business Office Manager during BOM absence

• Check-in patients electronically, including retrieving/entering insurance and demographics
• Schedule appointments for return and new patients in electronic scheduler for all locations
• Work up charts for future appointments for all doctors in the Sunset Hills office using electronic chart
• Take inventory and maintain supply of office materials and lunchroom necessities
• Account for fee tickets and charges on tickets after each session for all doctors
• Training and Development; Trainer for new AR front desk employees, including creating/maintaining material for new employees
