At the Fort Sill Logistics Readiness Center, Transportation Division, I arrange transportation for service members, their families, military students, and federal civilian employees. Travel is arranged through either ground transport, including government or commercial buses or shuttles, or air transport, including both military and commercial flights. In support of logistics duties, I give briefings regarding passports, travel requirements, and travel reimbursements. I work with private industry to arrange long haul commercial buses for units traveling for training or for educational purposes. Other duties include organizing storage according to accessibility requirements, maintaining an efficient and hazard-free office work area, and developing procedures necessary to ensure the physical security of the office area.While performing my duties I conduct business through telephone, email, and face-to-face meetings. During the course of transactions I track down information, verify details, scheduling appointments and managing information channels. I utilize and am proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Outlook. I also use Dept. of Defense proprietary programs such as GATES, GoPAX, and ISM. Using these applications I create and distribute travel itineraries, clearing certifications, tracking reports and management spreadsheets. I conduct research using various web browsers including Internet Explorer, Edge, Google Chrome, and Mozilla Firefox. I also scan, fax, copy, and run various other standard office equipment.

Responsibilities include tracking archeological site information, maintaining databases and information sheets, compiling and submitting monthly reports, technical writing, archeological fieldwork, and research of federal laws and regulations.

Both Sales and Customer Service were part of this position including responsibility for sales, some marketing, daily processing of orders, all shipping both domestic and international, most customer service issues and their resolutions, some bookkeeping, inventory, some ordering, and various other duties.

Served as manager of the book department and supervisor for other departments.

Work included processing artifacts and soil samples, analyzing, cataloging and compiling records of items, and inventorying and developing the lithic comparative collection.
