Led an implementation of Oracle Purchasing and Web Requisitions (Self Service Purchasing), which allowed hundreds of requesters to easily order supplies from the Oracle system over the Intranet. Managed a team through the full implementation life cycle; coordinating JAD sessions, configured and setup Oracle Purchasing, and Web Requisitions along with HRMS, Inventory, and System administrator modules to fully support the procurement and payment processes. Led a group of procurement managers from 8 locations across the United States, Mexico, and Canada through a series of requirements gathering and design sessions to design a Global Procurement Strategy. Participated in a Six Sigma Project focused on improving the vendor payment process which resulted in decreasing the invoice matching defects by 50% within 5 months. Through this process improvement initiative, it allowed the company to take advantage of more cash discounts, reduced transaction costs, and improved employee satisfaction by reducing rework and overtime.
