Fit pilots, flight attendants, ground service, and passenger service in uniforms according to the brand. Receive and ship out uniform pieces and packages. Keep track of inventory. Schedule fittings for new pilots, contact them regarding fit times, and work with the flight training team to keep their first weeks of training smooth and easy.

I have costume designed for George Fox University (three shows), Valley Repertory Theater (two shows), and Portland Christian High School (two shows). I've worked with costume shops and costuming a show all by myself. I create full colored renderings and build some costume pieces.

Cut fabric and notions for customers • Put away bolts of fabric and drape them • Collaborate with customers on their projects • Ring up customers on the register • Work as a team to keep the store clean • Be able to answer questions about fabric, notions, patterns, and general sewing techniques. This includes knowing fabric types, what they are used for, where they are manufactured, and their quality. It also includes understanding a pattern for a garment, craft, or home project and which fabric is suitable.

Produce mattresses, comforters, toppers, pads and decorative covers for couches and futons, using industrial grade equipment. This requires working with a variety of fabrics and materials, including sateen, quilted materials, knits, twills and decorative fabrics. • Maintain the “cut book” that contains cut lists and directions for all sewing room product builds. • Serve as lead seamstress.

Cut and sew costumes for three theatre productions each year from 2010 through 2013 • Created and used patterns to create costumes designed by myself and others • Learned and used a serger and other sewing equipment • Design costumes for some of the shows.

I answered multiple phone lines, fixed basic computer problems (wi-fi not connecting), handed larger problems off to higher professionals, and set up and took down electronic equipment such as camcorders and projectors. I was promoted to mentor/leader of the service desk after 6 months of working.
