I provide application configuration for the Self Pay, Collections and Cash Application areas. I serve as a bridge between the operational owners of the EHR application and the EHR Support team., participating in design, project management, implementation and testing to ensure the business needs are met. -Facilitate meetings with operational partners to address workflow/system issues; identify solutions and implement action plans to ensure resolution of issues.-Stay current on EPIC functionality for designates self pay and collection operations area.-Lead key projects; define project requirements, milestones, phases and project team members. -Develop and document internal procedures that will be used in conjunction with EPIC applications and upgrades.-Follow standard work for tracking/updating Service Now ticket requests.

Provide superior customer service to our patients by supervising the oversight of self-pay/eligibility functions for inpatients and outpatients to maximize reimbursement, MNsure enrollment, Admission and Treatment policy compliance, and timely payment solutions. This includes ADT/Prelude/Cadence functions, point of service collections and payment plan arrangements, eligibility and verification, customer service, process improvement, quality assurance, and work standardization. Supervise daily operations, complying with regulatory initiatives, preparing and overseeing budget and staffing plans, managing/developing staff, and ensuring compliance with productivity and accuracy standards to ensure this department meets organizational service needs. Supervises 501r regulations, Admission and Treatment policy roll-out, education and compliance, MNsure enrollment, payment plan set-up, and point of service (POS) collections. Ensures care centered around the patient that ensures privacy and satisfaction. Goals of the department include payment solutions found for uninsured/underinsured populations, self-pay activities successful, charity care and POS collection guidelines met, work standardized, efficiencies achieved, and organizational revenues are maximized.
