I am a passionate ecologist with a Bachelor’s in Ecology from UC Santa Cruz. My past work included studying the population dynamics of native mice (e.g. Peromyscus sp.), researching the distribution of the Santa Cruz kangaroo rat (Dipodomys venustus venustus), and working as a wildlife biological monitor for conservation projects along the Salinas River.I have several years of experience working in wildlife research and conservation implementation, with a focus on the ecology and conservation of sensitive or threatened species. My eventual goal is to pursue a graduate degree in wildlife ecology and, ultimately, a career in wildlife conservation research.
