Deanna Benjamin teaches, advises, and writes in St. Louis, Missouri. She has authored, co-authored, and taught courses titled Personal Narrative: Memory and Imagination; The Self as Story; Writing the World, Writing Ourselves; Writing as Activism; Narrative Forms; The Long Form (multi-genre); and introductions to composition, rhetoric, and literature courses. She advises undergraduate students in the College of Arts and Sciences and serves as co-chair for the Dean James E. McLeod First-Year Writing Prize and the Writing Identity theme in the College Writing Program.
