In many cases it is even harmful. Let’s take action to make it better.We need to resist the status quo that says “there is nothing we can do” about the problems we face. No one person can change this. We need to work together. We won’t be able to change it overnight. But we can do it! Topics include K-12 Education, Human Services, Global Citizenship, and Early Childhood Education.Coordinated days of service for hundreds of volunteers who want to get a taste of community engagement! Awarded start-up grants to students and community partners to fund great ideas! Send students and educational partners around the world on service-learning focused alternative breaks!

We provide guidance to teachers, students, and families who want to bring service-learning into their work and lives. Curriculum design advice and assistance, individual consultations, small group extra-curricular projects. All customized to meet the specific needs of our clients.

Led the Holden Center's community engagement initiatives, including days of service, alternative breaks, and student grants for service projects.

Coordinated service-learning activities at all grade levels K-8, including but not limited to: Empty Bowls events, Penny Harvest activities, and capstone projects.

Worked with students individually and in small groups, consulted with teachers and families, put in place a proactive, age-appropriate, and comprehensive school counseling program, providing for students' personal, social, and career development.

Worked closely in a residential camp setting with children and adults with varying developmental challenges. Swimming, fishing, arts and crafts, music, outdoor recreation, the usual camp stuff, but differentiated to each camper's needs. PLUS personal care, mental health interventions, etc.
