As a Career Services Advisor, I prepare and support prospective students, current students, and alumni in effectively planning and managing their evolving careers. I provide career guidance for students and graduates regarding resume content, interviewing skills, professionalism, industry expectations, and outplacement. In addition, I build relationships with employers- as having a solid understanding of the needs of the employers in our community is crucial to our students' success. We have advisory boards for our programs that include many national employers to ensure that we are teaching our students the most up to date technology and skills. I personally assist employers in finding highly qualified candidates by pre-screening our students that most closely match their requirements.
