While working as a Production Supervisor, I was given the opportunity to fill the vacant Coordinator role. Produced key ideas and methods to improve overall Supply Chain Performance and Product Quality within the Manufacturing Plant. Projects included monitoring foreign materials in the fry line, collecting data on potato waste and bruising and bringing forward ideas and suggestions to improve such. Sustainability activities included monitoring water quality and usage and identifying and implementing plans for reduction improvements. This position gave me a greater understanding of Manufacturing Supply Chains, Food Processing, being a Production Supervisor and Continuous Improvement. The projects I led contributed approximately $30,000 in annualized savings.
