During my time at Joust Group, I have developed exponentially within all areas of my brand management and marketing skills. I currently manage multiple agencies that assist us with our paid advertisement, and affiliate management and in the past have also managed a social media content agency. I am responsible for creating and releasing press releases to our selection of journalists, and managing the PR coverage for the Gardenesque brand. One of my key responsibilities is content creation for both Mycle and Gardenesque, and in the past, our smaller brands such as Garden Gifts and Plantificial. I am also a key player in creating and executing our marketing campaigns for both Gardenesque and Mycle brands, which involves but is not limited to campaign creation, marketing email communications, social media content, and website content such as copywriting and SEO management. I also manage the influencers we work with for Gardenesque and create and direct influencer campaigns with our strong portfolio of loyal influencers we collaborate with.

I began working with Big Buns, as a passion project, as I have a keen interest in Social Media Management. I managed their Instagram, Facebook and TikTok accounts, growing the platforms by a collective 40% increase in followers within the first 30 days. I helped them gain 50,000 TikTok followers, over 105,000 likes and almost 1,200,000 views within two weeks. From this point, I maintained and created new client relationships with Food Bloggers and Influencers, as well as coordinating events and bookings for 3 sites. I was personally responsible for replies to all messages and comments. The experience in this role allowed me to develop successful marketing strategies for the business which were then applied to our paid advertising campaigns that helped to improve reach and following.

My role involved managing day-to-day client/bar operations, including supervision and assignment delegation for a 7-member team. I oversaw the hiring, training, and professional growth of employees, as well as having a proven track record of driving business and delivering superior guest service. I developed excellent leadership skills, and a demonstrated ability to increase repeat business, and coordinate seasonal events. I also worked weekly overseeing musical and restaurant events in the bar and managing the running schedule of said events. I also developed strong team-building skills and excellent conflict-resolution abilities, in order to guarantee satisfaction for guests. I became an expert at working efficiently and left with a strong mixology knowledge and menu creation experience as a Bar Manager.

As part of my role as Assistant General Manager, I undertook the sub-position of Social Media Manager. This included content creation across our various social media platforms, uploading and maintaining our social media profiles - keeping it up to date with relevant content such as upcoming events, offers, and daily news. I also was responsible for our paid marketing through advertising campaigns on Meta (then Facebook/Instagram ads).

I took on the role of Band Manager for US-based Indie Rock band, Who What Where. I was responsible for creating smart marketing strategies to expand their fan base and appeal to new audiences. I also created and maintained their social media pages and booked interviews, tours and performances. I helped creatively direct the band to push them to success. I successfully helped them release their debut EP to various online retailers and subsequently accompanied them in booking their US tour.

During my time at Ruff Ragz, I created and maintained their e-commerce site. I took on marketing duties such as sending out a monthly newsletter alongside promotional campaign emails to the customer base. I was also responsible for responding to customer queries and complaints through our social platforms and email inbox. I would also create, edit and upload content to all social media platforms, building a loyal customer base and amassing a social media following.
