Responsible for organizing and enforcing a safe and successful engineering orientation week, which is a week long event involving 600 people. Duties included interviewing and selecting the planning team, liaison with faculty, motivating and supervising all volunteers. Also insuring accountability and assigning disciplinary action when necessary.

Responsible for conducting Type II and III Building Condition Audits of city owned buildings. Focus of inspections was on structural and architectural life-cycle items. I prepared written technical reports which included estimated replacement time, budget costs. Other responsibilities included reviewing Type II building Condition Audits, reformatting audit templates, budget planning and arranging meetings/taking minutes for supervisors.

Responsible for organizing and managing the executive members. Leading by positive examples and being a strong consistent role model. Was selected by the Carleton Engineering Student body as the recipient for The Best Student Group Present award for 2011-2012.

Creating digital maps of the city’s infrastructure, with the use of engineering drawings and aerial photos. Data was interpreted and digitalized using MicroStation. When additional information was required, field research was carried out.

Responsible for organizing, and initial set up facility. This included advertising, proper signage and inventory of the facility. Additional I played a lead role in preparing the beach facility for opening and the set up of other City run events.

Enforced safety and supervised swimmers during public swims. I instructed participants from infant to adult. I was also responsible for secretarial duties: phone management, balancing the till, lesson registrations, and maintaining excellent public relations.
