While at AUL, Deanna testified on constitutional issues before legislatures across the country; advocated on behalf of U.S. Supreme Court Justice Neil Gorsuch and 5th Circuit Court of Appeals Judge Kyle Duncan; provided state, Congressional, and agency partners with extensive research on a variety of policy issues; authored amicus briefs in state and federal courts, including the U.S. Supreme Court; and advocated at the United Nations.In July 2018, Deanna returned to Louisiana to join the staff of Attorney General Jeff Landry serving as the Communications Officer and later as an Assistant Attorney General defending State agencies and employees in General Liability cases.In May 2022, Deanna joined the team at CATS, as the Director of Communications.
