In addition to those general duties, I was assigned the role of Port Purser who was responsible for preparing and submitting all relevant documentation to international customers and border control agents to ensure the ship was cleared in each port of call. I also assisted to maintain a safe, secure, and healthy environment by enforcing organizational standards, procedures, and legal regulations, and effectively monitored, and made improvements to workplace safety within the division and throughout the ship.
