Responsible for leading multi-discipline engineering team (software, hardware, mechanical) in developing the company’s new and improved radar products. Team leader in the following projects: - World’s first commercial dual polarization weather radar. - New low power weather radar- New radar digital signal processor integration- Upgrading servo system design- Embedded radar controllers- Biological threat testing by weather radar for Homeland Defense- Established requirements reviews and design reviews Responsible for budgeting, scheduling, cost tracking, and corporate briefings of R&D activities.

Led team of software engineers in developing and maintaining radar control and display software using Linux and Windows, Qt, IDL, C/C++, Unicode. Conducted software reviews, customer support, scheduled resources, tracked cost, and managed IT personnel.

Designed and programmed instrumentation packages for EW Threat Radar, FME based radars, FAA Radar streams. Used embedded processors to instrument radar control and status information, real-time graphic displays, high-speed video cameras, and high speed communications using serial SDLC and Ethernet (TCP/IP). Projects were written in C/C++ with an RTOS (VxWorks and RTEMS). - Maintained embedded real-time software systems in Ada-Programmed C & Fortran VAX based pilot debriefing systems at Nellis AFB. Used C and Motif to program Red Flag Command and Control software.
