CurrentBrand Master, Preacher of Good Design, Guardian of Messaging… call me what you will, but my official title is Chief Creative Officer at SHELF.Every day is different at SHELF, but here’s a snapshot of what I bring to the table:-Leading the creative strategy of SHELF — with commercial success as the goal, and process and design carving the path.-Overseeing all creative projects, from discovery session to development, ‘til they’re out there in the world — both digital and traditional media, including (but not limited to): branding, commercial packaging, product design, marketing materials, investment decks, graphic design, trade show stands, and everything in-between.-Taking complex creative and business problems and providing simple, effective solutions as the architect and advocate behind all creative processes at SHELF.-Internal comms — design, writing, sharing, and updating.-Collaborating with different teams across the company, making sure every voice is heard and valued.-Nurturing a creative, supportive, and growth-focused team culture.-Leading discovery sessions and balancing client input with market and consumer needs for cohesive, comprehensive solutions with a creative, strategic, and business perspective.-Aligning with key stakeholders and clients, ensuring we get the information we need to diagnose before we prescribe.-Not trendy, but trend-led — always open to new technologies and techniques, with a keen eye for the next big thing in the market.-Eradicating the mundane and elevating sales through inventive, practical, creative solutions.-Breathing life into new brands and giving a new lease of life to established brands.-Keeping things waffle-free — no “blue-sky thinking”, “low-hanging fruit”, or “make it pop”.
