Built and drove rapid growth of Samsung's eCommerce platform in Canada. Key responsibilities included top-line sales growth, vendor & partner management, development and execution against roadmap for new eCommerce features, and day-to-day sales operations. Sales Growth● Accountable for online revenue growth; grew revenue from $10M to $150M in 3 years.● Grew eCommerce from 7th to 1st-largest channel for smartphone pre-order volume in Canada● Expanded Samsung’s online sales platform to new categories (e.g. Large Appliances) and markets (e.g. B2B stores, EPP stores)Features Shipped● Chat Support: Launched a 3rd-party partnership to add online chat support; Online chat became SECA’s leading support channel by both customer satisfaction and # of customer interactions in its first year of existence● Designed & implemented Samsung Canada’s first online trade-in and BNPL programs; programs responsible for >50% of all smartphone conversions in first 6 months.● Extended Warranty: Brought “Samsung Care” to the online shopping cart; increased attach rate of extended warranty from <1% of online sales to 7% via merchandising enhancementsVendor & Partner Management● Managed all eCommerce partnerships spanning across fulfillment, payment & fraud management, phone & chat support, extended warranty, instalment financing, and trade-in services● Led vendor contract negotiation, pricing negotiations, and QBRs● Developed business performance management strategy across sales, customer care, payment, fulfillment, etc.Business Operations & Other● Accountable for demand planning; instituted a new eCommerce forecasting rhythm, improving weekly forecast accuracy from +/-35% to +/-8%● Project managed all new initiatives, including process flow documentation, and progress reporting to key stakeholders (Retail VP, TV VP, IT Director, etc)● Lead all business systems and process training for new hires and customer service agents
