• Oversaw the production management, the manufacturing process improvement and implementation of strategic operational growth with the addition and commissioning of $17M worth of capital improvements and $25M in new customers. • Successfully managed the introduction of 2 new major customers into the manufacturing process, The Globe & Mail and Post Media Newspapers. • Worked closely with the team to meet deadlines and deliver promises to the new customers, which required integrating new equipment, initiating new processes and procedures, associate training, associate feedback and input on workflow, and communicating different roles and responsibilities among departments.• Supervised the 5S Continuous Improvement certification for the facility, which required workplace organization and process improvement initiatives, as well as working closely with improving the new working relationship with the union, management and associates. • Instrumental in building a better relationship with the union; worked with associates to build trust and provided frequent and consistent communication to share operational plans and delivering on commitments.

• Managed production and operational improvements within the entire operation with numerous equipment installations, new technology and building improvements. • Managed the successful $3.5M capital expansion of the plant with a new building addition that allowed for a major state of the art new press installation and growth to over $100 Million in revenue. • Successfully turned an $11 Million shipping cost center into a $1 million profit center.• Successfully worked with the leadership team on continuous process improvements with the implementation of new technologies and systems. The operations was one of the first in Alberta to implement, computer to plate. Also a leader with an on site natural gas fill station for operating natural gas material handling equipment. One of the first sites to introduce a digital press for value added service to our customers.
