Defy Limitation was created to offer a unique coaching experience to people who feel like they don’t belong in the fitness world. I wanted to show people that regardless of their circumstances, they can still participate in sport/fitness. Although still in its toddler stages, the brand has been gaining momentum since it’s official launch in April 22 with dozens of transformations already.Key Roles / Responsibilities- Face to Face personal training sessions- Delivery of online fitness classes to multiple clients- Bespoke programming in studio and creating personalised phased programs through my PT Hub- Nutrition programming, macronutrient profiling and creating personalise meal plans around clients’ dietary requirements- Weekly delivery of education seminars surrounding fitness, nutrition, and wellbeing- Creating and promoting video/photo/infographics for social media- Creating targeting ads through the Meta suite and tiktok- Using bespoke sales funnels to generate hot leads, contacting, and converting them into clients.

Sixth Sense Salon was a start-up Salon and still managed by of both myself and my business partner. I had zero experience within the hair industry but agreed to get involved creating the salon on one condition – we became the best salon in the UK. Over the past 8 years I took the business from an unknown, 3 man team salon, to a strong team of 16 stylists at our peak, we also became the most reputable salon in the UK, winning over 14 business awards including;• Best UK Salon• Best team • Best UK educator at the national apprenticeships’ awards to name but a fewKey Roles / Responsibilities- Creating a family-like culture for both team and clients- Supporting Team members to pursue their career goals by ensuring they had the very best education and backing to enter/win international creative competitions- Building strong relationships with the local community and supporting it’s most vulnerable through innovative schemes, of which we were internationally recognised- Working alongside our key suppliers to promote excellence within the hairdressing industry- Creating an award-winning client experience, consistently achieving 100% positive client feedback- Overseeing all operations for the business including HR (broad knowledge of contracts, policies, ACAS & Tribunals), Health & Safety, Accounts (VAT, PAYE, P&L) and developing training matrixes- Planning large scale events and creatively directing both video and photoshoot

Starting at consultant level, I built a solid and profitable permanent social care recruitment desk with a client portfolio of some of the most influential Care Companies in the UK. Due to my ongoing success within Coburg Banks I was promptly promoted to Senior Consultant in 2011 and then Team Leader in 2012. During my time as team leader I trained, developed and inspired a highly successful team of recruiters from scratch whilst still maintaining excellent billings. My hard work was noted in 2014 when I won top billing consultant and Team of the year in the annual Coburg Banks Awards ceremony.Although very successful within this position, my dream was always to run my own business; so in 2014 I set up Sixth Sense Salon with my business partner, the business was very successful within the first 12 months which enabled me to leave this role to dedicate my time expanding my own business.

After being turned down by dozens of recruitment companies, 7Even Solutions took a chance on me and took me on as junior consultant managing the temporary nursing and social care desk. Within 12 months I had developed both desks to turnover 20k per month. By the end of my time at 7Even Solutions the desk was turning over just under 40k, however I had earned and saved the most amount of money I’ve ever seen in my life, so decided to invest it into travelling the world.
