Team Rubicon’s Field Leadership Team is a group of members selected to be responsible for two things; serve in or train members for Command and General Staff positions, and coach and mentor leaders to ensure our operational culture and leadership style remain consistent by utilizing the Incident Command System tailored for Team Rubicon operations. Field Leadership members are expected to be experienced and confident in their Command & General Staff role and ready to take on mentoring members in a specific skill set or coaching a C&G team to be more successful managing operations. They will have direct influence on the quality of a members experience and a safe, efficient response to disasters.

Field Communications Content Producers are contracted by Team Rubicon to capture photography and video content on operations, service projects, and local events that will be ingested and propagated throughout Team Rubicon media outlets, both on the national and local levels.

The Clay Hunt Fellows Program equips the veteran with tools to redefine their purpose and identity out of uniform for a life of continued service. Fellows will complete a six-month Base Camp curriculum focused on emotional intelligence through strengths discovery, self-awareness exploration, focused cohort discussions, reading, and guided self-reflection assignments. Upon completion, Fellows will be equipped to better lead in their communities and within Team Rubicon.

The West Branch Social Media Lead oversees all forms of Social Media dissemination throughout the West Branch of Team Rubicon and upholds the standard operating procedures and policies set by the nation digital team of Team Rubicon in regards to account creation and information sharing.

Communication Leaders are Greyshirts, Public Information Officers, Photographers, storytellers, and champions of Team Rubicon’s (TR) brand standards. They contribute to Team Rubicon’s mission by providing leadership, guidance, and mentorship to other Greyshirts in the Territory. Their local volunteer audience should continuously wonder: “How did they know that was what I was thinking?” and “How did they know I needed this information?” To be a Communication Leader, you’ve got to be a social media guru who can handle multiple platforms at once. Communication Leaders regularly: Present the TR Greyshirt experience, distribute timely, pertinent information across channels, and work closely with Administrators and the many teams that make up TR.

Website Development, Client-Side Scripting, Server-Side Scripting, Database Management

Served under multiple battalions in the 1st Infantry Division as a Combat Engineer (12B) stationed at multiple posts in Germany. Deployed to Baghdad, Iraq from 08/2006 to 11/2007 on an extended 15-month deployment during “The Surge”. Conducted Route Clearance Operations, Counter IED Operations, Reconnaissance Missions, and Personal Security Details. Functioned primarily as an M240B Gunner.Served under the 950th Route Clearance Company of the Wisconsin National Guard from 02/2010 to 03/2011 for a 12-month deployment to Balad, Iraq for the end of Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) and most of Operation New Dawn (OND). Led a 5-man team on Route Clearance Operations, Counter IED Operations, and Reconnaissance Missions. Also served under the 388th Engineer Company of the US Army Reserves out of West Palm Beach, Florida. Functioned primarily as a Team Leader. Separated from the Army as a Sergeant (E5) with an Honorable Discharge.Combat Engineers primarily supervise, serve or assist as a member of a team. They provide much-needed combat effectiveness to the maneuver force by accomplishing mobility, and limited counter-mobility, limited survivability and general engineering tasks.Duties performed by Soldiers in this MOS include: Performs basic combat construction. Operates various light or heavy engineer wheeled vehicles. Operates or serves as crew member on a CEV, AVLB, or an ACE while participating in combat mobility, counter-mobility, and survivability operations. Prepares and installs priming and firing systems for demolition and explosives. Arms, disarms, and installs anti-personnel and anti-tank mines. Locates mines by visual means or by using a mine detector. Recognizes and neutralizes booby traps, friendly and threat mines, and firing devices.
