Directly supervised a 5-member quality team and co-led daily operations with the Production Manager. Our staff of approximately 60 included staff in departments of receiving inspection, plaster molding, break-down-tooling, part layup, bagging and ovens, fabrication, finishing, paint, quality inspection, over-inspection, the quality clinic, and shipping. I led the build-out of new processes and controls for the quality management system and directly reported to the President of the company.-Responsible for sub-component supply chains and inventory management to maximize production capabilities and meet manufacturing delivery deadlines. Worked closely with the Production Manager to apply LeanManufacturing principles to ensure production deadlines were met and suppliers were conforming to agreed terms.-Assisted in leading day-to-day operations including HR new employee onboarding, meeting with general staff as necessary in a human resources and operations role, payroll and expense analysis, business forecasting, staff reduction discussions and decision making, overseeing performance and maintenance of industrial equipment, materials management, and procurement of materials and supplies.-Led company through annual AS9100D audit with zero findings.
