When I was going to school for product design and development we had to do an internship. I chose to do mine with Dale Brisby(social media celebrity) because he had a clothing line and that is what thought I wanted to do! After I got out there and did some work with his apparel line I realized that there was something else that drew my attention. He was creating content every day and figuring out social media algorithms and I was hooked! That was when I decided I wanted to go into marketing! So we decided I wanted to go jump into the workforce and didn't want to spend another 4 years in school. So I changed my major to whatever would get me out the quickest! I started applying for every opening that I could find and....nothing. It was great I had a love for it but 2 months of experience didn't even get me an email back. I decided another internship would be my best way to gain more experience. So I got a 6-month marketing internship with Miller international (Cinch Jeans) and learned a ton! On the last day of my internship, I got a call from Bex Sunglasses and was offered the job as Social Media Manager! The day after my Internship was up I drove to Logandale, Nevada, and started work the following day. A year later I was promoted to Marketing Manager.
