Detru Music is my publishing company. I co-wrote "Hold On Love"​ on the Grammy-nominated album, Where The Past Meets Today. I have written songs with Kara DioGuardi, Steve Perry (Journey) , Nikki Sixx (Mötley Crüe), Kevin Kadish ("All About That Bass"​), James Michael, Jim Roach (Emmy Award Winner for Best Song, "Girl, You Don't Need No Makeup"​), Sarah Kelly, Matt Serletic, Dug Pinnick (King's X), among others.My songs have been produced by Mike Clink (Guns N'​ Roses, Metallica), Howard Benson (Kelly Clarkson, Rascal Flatts, Bon Jovi, Chris Cornell), Mike McCarthy (Spoon, Patty Griffin), Dave McNair (David Bowie, Bruce Springsteen, Bob Dylan), Neal Avron (Sara Bareilles, Weezer), Sylvia Massy (Tool, Johnny Cash), James Michael (Kelly Clarkson, Alanis Morissette), Matt Serletic (Aerosmith, Willie Nelson, Santana), among others.I co-wrote the soundtrack to the film, American Cowslip, starring: Bruce Dern, Val Kilmer, Rip Torn, Cloris Leachman, and Peter Falk. The soundtrack was recorded with Ben Shepherd (Soundgarden). I was the managing editor of One Way Magazine, a music publication that covered artists of all genres. The magazine had a circulation of 100,000 copies throughout the United States and the site received over 750,000 unique visitors per week.I interviewed and wrote features on artists including: Brian Wilson, Chris Cornell, The Flaming Lips, Ryan Adams, Burt Bacharach, Jane's Addiction, Tommy Ramone, Ben Harper, Al Green, Neil Diamond, KISS, Fleetwood Mac, Rush, among numerous other artists.
