I came to this great profession a little later in life, and it's been all I can imagine doing ever since. I work primarily in the commercial and corporate space, creating both photos and video. That said, I take a mean family portrait too. All Is Light is what we go by these days, but we traded as DWPhoto for our first 10 years. As a photographer, I shoot corporate portraits, architecture, products, events, marketing material, advertising and pretty much anything a business needs photographed. I get to build relationships with my clients that go well beyond a day of shooting. I love this part. It's good for business but it's even better for the simple fact of connecting with people and helping them tell their visual storiesAs we all know. video has grown a lot in recent years as there are few better ways to connect with your clients or fans. It's also the number one growing form of content to build your website and brand awareness. I shoot social media posts, instructional videos, youtube promos, corporate interviews and advertisements. It's a wonderful way to both communicate and connect.It really is all about the light, and I'm not just talking about photos or video. We need light to survive, we need it for warmth. We are made of the stuff. The magic of photography is felt by us all because it is made of this marvelous stuff called light, from which we are also made .
