I'm an experienced academic in the field of Criminological and Forensic Psychology, with a demonstrated history of working in the higher education industry. Skilled in data analysis, quantitative and qualitative research projects, research design, and eduction. Previously, the founder and director of the Crime, Harm and Justice Research Group in the Faculty of Social Science at the University of Chester. Which capture the work of Investigation & Cyber Crime; Elderly, Inequalities & Marginalised Groups; and Harm & Justice.My research to date has specialised in the evaluation of programmes designed for individuals in the criminal justice system. A core strand of this work has explored the use of arts in the criminal justice system, including specific populations such as the elderly in prison. I have pioneered and developed creative methodologies to explore the experiences of young people in the YOS, and currently I lead a team of researchers evaluating the West Midlands Violence Reduction Partnership. I have recently published on mental health and wellbeing of sexual orientation minorities of faith and victimisations experiences.I am a Chartered Coaching Psychologist interested in health and wellbeing, and the implementation of coaching psychology in the criminal justice setting and community approaches to diverting away from crime.
