As a therapy resource, Deb’s focus is on fostering an entrepreneurial culture of ownership among the therapy, nursing and facility leaders she serves. By empowering the local leaders and their teams to identify solutions to the specific medical needs of the communities in which they operate, she is able to facilitate their efforts through education and best practice sharing with focus on program development. Deb serves the organizational mission to dignify long-term care and transform post-acute care by incorporating the core values of the organization into the education and program development that she helps support. Her areas of expertise include, in-depth understanding and knowledge of the regulatory components of healthcare and how to operationalize the clinical and financial components for success, supporting interdisciplinary team processes to create efficient and effective outcomes of patient service delivery in the shift toward value-based payment, and facilitation of comprehensive interdisciplinary program development to meet clinical needs of the patients and better serve the local healthcare partner needs. Deb serves on and leads various interdisciplinary organizational committees, provides support to other resources, and provides regular education, training and development support on various topics throughout the organization.
