Following a rewarding career in Human Resources and Operations in the airline and financial service industries, I made the decision in July of 2016 to apply my experience and education toward making a difference in the local community. I actively sought to educate myself and successfully transition into a career path within education, health care, or community service. During 2017 I built a small practice providing human resource consultation in the non-profit sector. The engagements were energizing, challenging, and full of variety. The services provided varied from compensation philosophy and pay administration to talent acquisition to learning and development to career/talent management to establishing human resource business metrics – all of which helped support my clients’ ability to meet their strategic priorities and plan for future human resource needs.I am committed to community support and volunteer with organizations such as Habitat For Humanity, Feed My Starving Children, the Jeremiah Program, and Second Harvest Heartland. I have been fortunate to serve on two Boards at the University of Minnesota - the Carlson School of Management Undergraduate Advisory Board where I served as Board Chair during the 2015/2016 academic year and the Carlson School of Management MAIR Alumni Board. I am a second term Board of Trustee member at my church, where I serve on the Budget & Personnel Committees. I also serve as the Leadership Board Past President of the Human Resource Executive Council, an organization of HR leaders from companies across the Twin Cities.
