As a Scrum Master at Giant Eagle, Inc., I coach and mentor team members as they embark on their Agile journey. I provide them with knowledge and skills in Agile and Scrum practices to improve efficiency. One of my key objectives is to foster an environment of trust and inclusivity, ensuring that all team members feel valued and included. I believe that this is crucial for the success of any Agile team.I also prepare daily reports to present to senior management and product owners, keeping everyone informed about the team's progress. I also efficiently manage sprint boards using Jira. In addition, I have created captivating PowerPoint presentations and conducted bi-monthly coaching sessions for other Scrum Masters and their team members. These sessions have resulted in significant improvements in Agile practices.I have also mentored two new Agile Scrum teams, each consisting of 4-6 team members. I presented PowerPoint sessions on Agile practices, reviewed backlogs to help team members prioritize work items, and attended their Agile ceremonies to provide coaching and advice.Reporting is an important aspect of my role, as it helps demonstrate the team's progress over time. I focus on areas such as task completion during sprints, reduction in work in progress (WIP), progress statuses, and completed tasks.Collaboration is another key area that I emphasize. I coach three Scrum teams, each consisting of 5-7 team members, on fostering collaboration by pairing individuals with similar mindsets for code development and reviews. I also help the team recognize and enhance their soft skills using Agile principles.To encourage active participation, I regularly delegate the Agile daily Scrum and planning ceremonies to team members. Further accomplishments include improving reporting capabilities by exploring various applications compatible with Jira, such as eazyBI, and analyzing reports to make data-driven decisions.

In my role as the Scrum Master and Project Manager, I offered guidance and support to four Scrum teams comprised of developers who were new to Agile practices. I emphasized the significance of each step in Scrum ceremonies, including standup, retrospective, grooming, planning, reviewing, and pre-grooming. I also facilitated tasks, coached teams during retrospectives, and effectively resolved issues by communicating with the appropriate resources and organizing Quick Chat meetings. Additionally, I created a safe and trusting environment that fostered team camaraderie and open lines of communication to ensure transparency. I also organized daily reports for senior management and product owners to track velocity, backlogs, and priorities.To enhance team performance, I closely monitored Jira and Confluence reports, identifying team patterns and guiding them in improving story pointing, planning, and collaboration. I actively engaged with product owners in bi-monthly backlog meetings to develop strategies for prioritizing and organizing tasks. Furthermore, I developed a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet for product owners to prioritize high-priority projects for upcoming sprints. I also effectively communicated cross-over tasks among teams and implemented tactics to enhance tracking of these tasks.In addition to my responsibilities, I successfully mentored and onboarded four other Scrum Masters, providing them with training on utilizing Jira and Confluence reports to monitor the progress of cross-functional teams. By scheduling regular meetings, I ensured effective communication of various impacts, resulting in a reduction in the number of days required to complete overall projects.

I regularly communicated with delivery leads and product owners to provide updates on project statuses and ensure alignment with project goals. Additionally, I mentored and guided two teams, each consisting of 5-7 members, resulting in improved efficiency and reduced project timelines. I also created Excel Pivot reports to effectively track project progress and resource allocation, providing valuable insights for informed decision-making. Furthermore, I contributed to team member performance reviews, identifying strengths and supporting corrective actions. I strategically guided the team to enhance performance.

In this role, I successfully oversaw and organized technical resources for projects, ensuring smooth operations. I regularly updated project managers on the status of projects to ensure adherence to timelines. I created detailed technical project plans using Microsoft Project and effectively monitored resource allocations through a time-reporting application. I carefully evaluated use cases and supplemental specifications and maintained records of technical project flows to closely track project progress. Additionally, I collaborated with the application team to provide accurate estimates for projects and completed various administrative tasks, such as time and status reporting, with precision and timeliness.To promote effective communication and collaboration among team members, I implemented instant messaging, which significantly improved overall team efficiency and productivity.I facilitated project meetings with both internal teams and external clients, ensuring that individual needs were met and ultimately achieving 100% client satisfaction.Due to my extensive knowledge and expertise in multiple internal applications, including SharePoint and ClearQuest, I was regarded as a subject matter expert (SME) and provided valuable insights and guidance.
