As an accomplished communications professional and writer, I have provided employers and clients comprehensive services, plans, programs and counsel as well as effective strategies and tools for content, branding, marketing, advertising, communications, writing/editing, public relations, corporate script and speech writing, development and more. My work has helped advance the profile position and goals of employers and clients large and small, public and private, for profit and nonprofit throughout Florida and the U.S. East Coast in industries including the arts, higher education, tourism, healthcare, international trade and transportation including The Palladium Theater; Johns Hopkins Health System, WCJT Public Broadcasting (NPR, PBS, wjct.org), Stetson University College of Law, Florida CraftArt; The Ringling Museum; StageWorks Theatre, Southwest Florida Symphony; Bradenton Herald, Sarasota Herald Tribune, City of Cape Coral Division of Economic Development, Calvert County, Maryland Division of Tourism, Boston Children’s Hospital & Medical Center; Lee Memorial Health System; Health Management Associates, Sentara Health System and Virginia’s Ports. In 2020, I was honored to have been accepted into the prestigious "Writers in Paradise" writers conference held annually at Eckerd College. My book/film project "Becoming FLO," is currently in play. The work is inspired by my Orthodox Jewish uncle who as a boy, ran away from home in 1920, joined the circus, found fame and HERSELF. My work has appeared in regional and national media, publications, corporate films and presentations, traditional and new marketing media, speeches among others.I earned an MLA from the prestigious Florida Studies Program at the University of South Florida St. Petersburg, a BA with distinction from in arts management and marketing at Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, and studied business and organizational communications at Emerson College in Boston. I've also studied photography at the University of Maryland and have served on numerous charitable boards, and as a an advocate, provided testimony before the U.S. Senate in support of women's health. During the last 10 years, in addition to having led the marketing program for The Palladium, I have have created and shown my artworks in glass, clay, acrylics, oils and photography.
